It’s been a rough start to 2015 with the crippling amount of snow we received and now all of this rain. A good thing about the rain though, I imagine all of the waterfalls in Red River Gorge are absolutely breath taking right now! With really mild temps today, it would be a perfect day to come visit the area and take a nice hike to Creation Falls & Kaner Falls! Tomorrow is expected to be a beautiful day, so come on down and stay in one of our cabins for a night and enjoy some hiking trails before heading back home tomorrow! What a perfect end to your weekend?!
Coming up on Saturday April, 4th there will be an Easter Egg Hunt at Torrent Falls Climbing Adventure! It will be fun for families, individuals, and kids of all ages! Participants will look for Easter Eggs while climbing the Via Ferrata climbing course and hiking along the trails. Hunt starts at 11:00 AM and runs until 3:00 PM! Our Wild Things of Kentucky is part of it also if you’d like to get up close and personal with Kentucky’s very own snakes, spiders and much more! It’s a great learning experience as well as something fun for everyone to do on this rainy day. Wild Things is open until 7:00 PM this evening!
