Hiking

It is such a nice day here at Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge State Park. It is a nice day for a hike to the natural bridge or a hike thru the gorge. Over the weekend i was able to take a hike in the gorge. I did the chimeny rock trial and the skybridge trail. Now keep in mind these are both short hikes, Neither being more then a mile long. But they are so beautiful. There is so many things to see. For instance On chimney rock you can look over and see where the buffalo use to roam. Alot of people dont know that the Gorge was home to buffalo. They use to be native to this area. But just taking a drive thru the gorge is a nice little adventure. Hope you guys stop by to see us soon. We are in the office until 8pm tonight. We still have alot of cabins available for this weekend. Also we are offering a 25% discount for this weekend only. Feel free to give us a call at 606-663-8858

Here is a picture of the buffalo that use to roam in red river gorge. This was taken back in 1998.

Hope you have a wonderful day.
